Umut Kaçar
Born in 1999 in Turkey, my first sports experience was to start athletics in 2012 and I improved myself with various achievements and medals, then I had to quit athletics in the first year I started university. In 2018, in order to improve myself in the field of sports, I started the Department of Movement Education at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Sports Sciences.
In the winter of 2018, I completed the 2nd level lifeguarding course by the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation.
In 2018, when I started university, I was lifeguarding in water sports in the summer months and I met windsurfing in the first months of my business year. While lifeguarding, I also had the opportunity to improve myself in windsurfing. And I had the chance to teach windsurfing to many people for a total of 3 summers.
In 2019, when I was a student, I worked part-time as a swimming instructor.
In 2019, I completed the boat instructor course conducted by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
In 2019, I participated in the windsurfing instructor course organized by the Turkish Sailing Federation and qualified as a level 3 windsurfing instructor.
In 2021, I started working as an instructor at a windsurfing school in Turkey. Since my general area of specialization is children, I have taught and endeared windsurfing to hundreds of children between the ages of 7-12.
In 2022, with the Erasmus+ project, I worked as a windsurfing instructor and sports coach in the water sports department of a large camp center in Greece.
